This lock is a standalone RFID access lock and designed for all kinds of doors including office buildings, apartments, warehouses, schools, senior homes, hotels, and many other commercial or residential doors. The lock is weatherproof and suitable for interior or exterior doors. It is easy to install and simple to use. Neither wiring nor drilling is required. Programming RFIDs is done by the lock itself, no extra equipment needed. One ID can be programmed to many locks. One lock can be programmed with up to 500 RFIDs.
Note: The lock handing and backset is fixed. Please select properly lock for your door. Usually fixed handing and backset are more reliable than changeable size, specially for commercial doors. ID card or fob does not come with the lock.
How to select the correct lock:
- Left-hand or right-hand lock: when looking at the door from OUTSIDE, hinges on left indicate a left-hand door; hinges on right indicate a right-hand door.
- There are two popular backset sizes for pre-drilled doors. Measure from the handle center to the edge of the door: one size is 2-3/8" the other size is 2-3/4 ".
